An email from Supt. Campbell;
Good morning,
This is a quick reminder that the Blackstone-Millville Regional District School Committee will have an Open Hearing on the FY 08 Budget this evening, Thursday, March 15th, in the Molony-Sullivan Auditorium of the Blackstone-Millville Regional High School. The meeting begins at 7:00 PM.
Other Information:
A sub-committee of the District School Committee continues to meet with representative members of the Blackstone and Millville Boards of Selectmen and Finance Committee. Their most recent meeting was last evening. This communication process is critically important and future meetings are being planned.
The Senior Citizens from Blackstone and Millville have been invited to attend a Luncheon at the Frederick W. Hartnett Middle School tomorrow, Friday, March 16th at 11:30 AM at the FWHMS. Thus far, we have over 60 participants. This luncheon is a continuation of the outreach the District School Committee has initiated this year. We are looking forward to the event.
Alrighty then...20 people showed up...trust me, I could think of a few places I would have rather been..but you have to show up...it was embarrassing...don't count on everybody else showing up...that happened last year... and Blackstone had a circus for an Annual Town Meeting and voted your kids education down the toilet...I know it's a pain in the ass but suck it up...it's important...
The Finance Committee and BOS have a series of other meetings with BMR in the next several weeks to further refine the budget. The BMR budget will be presented to the Millville FINCOM on March 28 at 7:00 at Longefellow. The Blackstone Valley Tech budget will also be presented that night, at 8:00. Please consider attending this meeting!!
Hey there, "brother's keeper" do you have to use foul language?? "a pain in the ---" -No need of that...with your extensive knowledge of the english language, I would expect better things from you....
The "A" word is one of those fringe words. I do apologize if it offended. I pray you are never around when I fix my car. I could have gone with "a pain in the burro", but, too many people would have thought I was on something...please keep posting, you have much to offer..
To Brother's Keeper: Point is that you not only affended me but you are displaying a lack of sensitivity....I expect more from a potential leader..And, by the way, what exactly is a "fringe" word???Fringe meaning an ornament,decoration,embelishment --I hardly think the A-- word is an "embelishment" - Let's call a spade a spade...and let me know whenever you plan to work on your car...I will make certain to keep away from your garage..and pray alot...
