Phil Tympanick sworn in to the BOH
Write in candidate Phil Tympanick was sworn in this morning to the Board of Health. Phil is taking over for the vacated spot left by Ken Gikas who has recently moved out of town. Best of luck to Ken, he will be missed. We applaud Phil for stepping up and donating his time to the town. There is nothing like getting your feet wet to get a true appreciation of what volunteerism is about. I'm sure there is a thick manual Phil will need to read to prepare to do Health Inspections. The ability to handle people properly is key. The ability to be firm yet show compassion will hopefully be his focus. It also requires the ability to get along with other town departments. Best of luck to Phil.

The BOH is a very difficult board in which you do not make friends. I hope the board will be able to work together and provide services to individuals and the community as a whole. Tommy, Dave and Phil will have a tough enough job without having "pot shots" thrown at them. Good Luck to the new BOH!

It's great to learn that Phil Tympanick, a write in on the BOH,
has accepted the position..I agree Mr/Mrs.Anonymous, this, like many other boards requires hard work, dedication and its not a "social" hour. The first requirement, I percieve, is having an "open mind" and readiness to learn all facets of the job. I havne't seen that with the new BOH member,having experienced his past public actions.
However, its a new day and time to
move on and exclude the "pot shots."
What a coincidence … the K-of-C Man of the Year Mr. Pare is back in Town, and Patriot Phil gets a pass with the walk on vote.

That’s because he has to find a way to pay off his fines and money owed to people in town .. ain’t that right Charlie. He couldn’t even pay for his kids’ lunches at MES and stiffed the school district with the tab. He must have ran out of money treating the KOC to those nice big juicy steaks … let’s hope Patriot Phil is a vegetarian.
I think everyone deserves a chance. I don't understand the connection between Pare & Tympanick...do they even know each other ?? Let's not make this another blog. If you have some info, by all means share it...I don't want people posting made up stuff or conspiracy theories... although Phil deserves a couple I don't want to see that happen here.

This is going to cost the town a lot of money.
Rumor has it, it's all about Diane and Mac having a personal vandetta against a neighbor.
The ConCom is out of control going to court with the Planning board.
For those of you who don't know this whole Millville Vs. Millville is all about Mac violating wetlands on the Lima property when he was the chairman of the ConCom. This needs to come to a stop quickly before the town spends thousands of dollars on a personal vandetta.

Just because the election is over doesn't mean this site should go to sleep!!!!Lots of yakking going on regarding the Chairman of the BofS and possible law suits etc etc "Millvile vs Millville" .????...Don't know the real story but I am confident that all will come forward and will be dealt with. There will always be "personal vendetta" accusations, - particularly in a small town but I feel if someone has broken the law, no matter who they are and what their function is, it needs to be addressed and I'm sure it will be-- given time...Hope Mr. Tympanick is enjoying his function as a member of the Board of Health..Lots of responsibilities on that board indeed!! Received a "thank you" from Karin Furno regarding support on her recent campaign..Thought that was a nice gesture...I wish them all the best...Lots of work and hard knocks in store, unfortunately..Stay out of the hot sun!!!!

As I watched the selectman’s meeting this week, I wondered why Poulin did not recuse himself from the discussion concerning the Lima Property. He did site work (plumbing) on the property which I believe is an ethics violation not to disclose this to the public.
Smith, Demato, Pare and now Lima … he almost has a Royal Flush !

Having to deal with the curve balls life can sometimes throw, I have not given this website the attention it deserves...BUT, my priorities are in line..I said early on this was about #5 on my list of priorities...
My take on the squabbling happening between Mr. McCutcheon & the Lima's...I'm comfortable since the Lima's are being the most vocal and are trying to sell their "case", they probably are the ones "hiding" the most...having been personally dragged into one of these Millville squabbles...I know how easily the "stories" start...the Lima's rebuttal seems to be wrapped around unregistered cars at the McCutcheon property...what the hell does that have to do with the original squabble ?? I'd like to hear both sides...what is the truth ??

Even Mr Baker is moving on as far as the Election why dont you. The citizens of Millville voted. They voted for the two people that they wanted in the seats. Get over it. Enough of the this and that. There are more important issues to deal with(like the Taxpayers dollars) and where its going.

It doesnt sound like the Lima's are trying to "sell their case". Its sounds like they are getting the story/truth out there.
In your "take" you sound very biased.The bottom line is the McCutheons are costing us taxpayers money.
Mr McCutcheon cut trees down on wetlands is that a fact?

The Lima's applied for a building permit for a residential barn last year.The Building Inspector found out that Mr.Lima was running a business out of his garage.In the Town of Millville the zoning is residential.To run a business out of your property you must register your business with the Town Clerk,then you have to apply for a special permit with the Planning Board,then you apply for a building permit for a commercial garage.The Lima's are upset because now they have to go through the whole process all over again.Why would you do things twice?Level playing field for everyone!No one is above the law.

The Lima's already went through the loops again and it's over.
They didn't complain that they had to pay the fee or go through the process.
They are getting the truth out that the ConCom is costing the town money going to court over their property.
The Concom is fighting to get the special permit revoked because of the wetlands violation!!!
Note it was Malcom who violated the wetlands not the Lima's.
So Mr. Baker before you start running your mouth you should look up the facts before hand.
And as for the unregistered vehicle. What makes the Chairman of the BOS special that she doesn't need to obey town by laws.
The Lima's have a great complaint.
The Lima's have the permit to run a business out of the garage but the concom refuses to acknowledge it. IT is all down town, go see for yourself.
Oh and mac stepped down from the chairman position before he could be fined for violating the Lima's wet lands. Now he just uses his wife to pursue his personal vendetta.
