Pride of the Blackstone Valley

Well, as usual our world class music program has done very well. They competed last weekend and here are the results as posted by the BMMA. There is a fan bus that heads into Symphony Hall. It's pretty special.

Our Chorus, High School and Middle School Bands competed at the Micca Festival and our Winter Guard and Winter Percussion competed at the Nesba Championships that was held at U-Mass Amherst.

I have listed the results below...

Chorus - Bronze Medal - 1st Time at Micca

8th Grade Band - Silver Medal

7th Grade Band - Gold Medal

High School Concert Band - Silver Medal

High School Wind Ensemble - Gold Medal

Winter Guard - 1st Place

Winter Percussion - 4th place

Congratulations to all our groups and Instructors that work so hard and always make us proud!

The 7th Grade Band and High School Wind Ensemble will be performing at Symphony Hall on Saturday, April 21st.

Please let me know if you would like to reserve a seat(s) on the Fan Bus.

Cost is $10.00.

The 7th Grade Band will be performing at 2:00pm at Symphony Hall and the High School Wind Ensemble will be performing at 3:00pm.

Let's hope we see a full bus, and some new faces!! What a great honor for children from our town(s) to win this great recognition.

Imagine these kids can say they played right on the same stage of the BSO!

See you there! Let's hope it is a great day. April in Beantown is always a good time!!
