I'm reaching out to a past contributor. Nobody knows better than me that life can get in the way sometimes. But, I hope Abe can come back and contribute. I thought his commentary was fair and he told it like it is. Maybe a monthly editorial or something ?? Come on back Abe.
I would also like to reach out to anyone who would like to post pictures of town happenings. Be it Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Little League, Soccer, town projects or happenings, fund raisers, whatever. Send the pictures to brotherskeep@gmail.com. I think most find it refreshing to see positive & upbeat articles.

I thought it was actually funny to hear the name mentioned … well Abe has been enjoying the summer and I hope everybody else is as well.
First thing first Mr. Baker, we all have personal issues in our lives that we must contend with but this website has been non-active for too long. Some people feel you fell off the planet when you lost the election, and abandoned the website because it was just an election ploy. There are some of us who still live in this great little town who hoped that the website would sustain after the elections … give us a positive choice.

Where to start ? There are troubling times in this Town once again. Why ? How can this happen you say ? The answer leads to one thing … change. There are people who do not want positive change for the Town. I want to commend Mrs. McCutcheon, Mr. Savage, and Mr. Petrowicz for standing their ground on sustaining the positive change for our Town. Mrs. Furno needs to start acting like a Selectman, and could learn a lot from them. You can forget about Mr. Poulin as he’s not capable of learning but just follows orders from Camp Mary like Lenny, and Mike before him. BTW, Camp Mary has changed if you can believe it. Jen is trying to become their glorious leader or is it just a pre-election bid for 20 votes from a bunch of misfits? Is it coincidence that Mikes’ back in Town ? Let’s remember .. rats always bunch together … the good news is there’s always a snake in the bunch as well. So eventually the snake will eat the rats ! Security Guard Timmy learned that lesson the hard way didn’t he … too bad he didn’t watch the first Survivor show. So who’s the snake you say ? I know who the snake is and has always been. But why should good ol’ Abe give the misfits a heads up. You live by the sword … you die by the sword.
Speaking of elections, I guess Abe had it all wrong about Mr. Poulin before the April election. He didn’t become a Selectman for retribution against Mrs. McCutcheon. Let’s look at the last 3 months of his performance as its’ been entertaining to say the least. What has he brought to the table other than questioning everything about an on-going law suit. Any other current legal issues are OK with him in Town as his focus has only been on one ... 372 Chestnut Hill. A lawsuit that he should refrain from speaking on from what I have watched on TV. It is well known his family has a long stemming feud with Mr. McCutcheon due to some past Conservation issues on their property. Please … can someone give our Chairwoman a break on this. What does that have to do with her ? Guess that’s the type of mentality we are dealing with at Camp Misfit . So again … What has Mr. Poulin brought to the table other than reading off cue cards that someone wrote for him. I’ll wager that the author sits in his fan / kin section during BOS meetings. Do they think having the entire Poulin clan sitting in front of Mrs. McCutcheon at every meeting will intimidate her? I actually had to leave a BOS meeting because of the vulgar comments made under breath coming from that side of the room. Yet … Mr. Poulin sits there taking it all in with his dimwit smile. I’m glad the camera doesn’t pick it up as we may have our children watching these broadcasts. BTW … Where does he get off questioning someone’s education … look into a mirror first Mr. Poulin. (any brainwaves ?) One more thing Mr. Poulin, I agree with Mr. Savage in that you are a Selectman of this Town 24/7 whether you like it or not. You can not separate yourself into citizen Charlie when you walk the Town Clerk into the Police station for her to register a complaint. When you brought Mr. Lima’s pictures to the residence of a Conservation Commission member, you were acting as a citizen too ? Not what you said on camera, you were acting as a Selectman. I’m confused on this … which is it ? Maybe you are too. You should be made to answer Mr. Petrowicz’s questions on camera for all to see … oh yeah … I forgot … you didn’t have pre-written cue cards ready with answers.
As far as the Town Clerk’s law suit, I always got along with her and though she did a decent job ( at least better than previous Town Clerks ). Now a lawsuit is issue against the Board of Selectman … well no … just one sitting member ? I believe it is a 5 member board . After I read the charges, I didn’t know I was reading a soap opera. I believe the entire board has been validating departments including the Assessors Office. Now we have a law suit filed, a form of retribution you might ask ? It is well known she’s involved with a lot of land activity in Town … a knee jerk reaction ? Didn’t she just get a 28% pay raise ? I’m sure the Judge will be questioning this as well.
I’m glad that the news is good for MES and the water problem. I never second guessed the BOS as many did in their resolve to fix the problem. Its’ a shame others did while standing on the sidelines throwing rocks from their glass houses. Well I’m sure they will find something else to complain about. Again, kudos to the current BOS.
Mrs. McCutcheon keep your chin up !!!!! … there are residents in Town who do support you minus the 20 misfits. You have done a lot for the Town and I for one appreciate it. I know of many other residents who do as well too.
I could touch on a couple of more topics but I think there’s enough to digest here for one sitting. I’m sure Camp Misfit will respond to this unless their busy fixing divots in the pavement.

Welcome back Abe...it's kind of a reunion. Truth be told, the night of the election, I learned my business was probably not going to survive. In retrospect it was a blessing I didn't get elected...life's curve balls can alter life big time. The election thing was just another piece of the puzzle. I'm proud my intentions were in the best interests of the town and I stuck to the high road ...I had no agenda. I wanted to do the right thing...that drives people nuts in this small town...My opponent declared he didn't have an agenda either, face to face to me...it troubles me to hear some of what has been going on. I think your read on who's writing the cue cards is right on. It's really too bad. You hope his wife steps in. She's the real deal. Our wives keep us grounded. I was not aware MJB was back in town. He said he would never come back. I find it hard to believe he didn't stick to his guns. Enough for now.
Glad your back Abe...your insight is a big draw to this site. Please come back often..my offer remains open about giving you the "keys to the kingdom"...my intentions are honorable...I assure you...please consider it.
You may think that Abe is a great contibuter but there are many flaws in his writings/thinking.
Abe seems to be a "wanna be". He must sit at meetings knowing that he is such an ass that no one would ever vote for him, so he must comment on everything any everyone else. It isn't tough to figure out his M-O
I honestly don't know who Abe is...I have a few guesses. My take is Abe is an ex-selectmen. I also believe if Abe decided to run again, he would win in a land slide. He was probably another casualty of late night phone calls and intimidation if he didn't follow orders. I'm glad those days are over...so should everyone else.
The last comment is priceless...Abe has "flaws in his writings/thinking" but then no elaboration. Why take the time to post a comment without explaining your point ? Why type and say nothing ?
I think Abe is right on...if you don't, I invite you to debate Abe...good luck. I've taken my shots from Abe but have deserved them. He doesn't pull any punches.

The Real Deal.
I am always thinking about “it”. By that, I mean our town’s current problems. What’s interesting is how everyone perceives that the current BOS has caused all the Town’s problems. Here’s a news flash for the disbelievers and nay-sayers, take a look at some issues. Who’s to blame ? The bridge fiasco, MES water problem, corrupt ex-Police Chief, questionable ex-Tree Warden, poor Fire Dept. morale, knee jerk Town Clerk law suit, corrupt ex-Executive Secretary, poor snow removal practices, etc. … Can anyone guess the common thread involved ? Well, I’ll wager that Camp Misfit knows the answer to this as they have many who caused the problems in their ranks. It makes one wonder how anyone would even listen to these distracters. I think people are losing sight that most, if not all, of the problems have NOT been by-products of the current BOS. They took a oath, understood their role, and have dealt with problems head on. Like it or not, positive change has happened in Town, and we are better off now because of it. Its’ a shame there are still some who would wish to revive an era of back-door politics, personal gain, retribution and intimidation by the rats. We need to remember that the rats are running out of places to hide, and the snake is getting hungry !
My apologies to MJB...didn't know we were talking about MP...it's nice to see MJB distancing himself from that fiasco...although MP & Lenny are Ryan guys...I admit I have trouble keeping score...
Although I do think I have figured out who Abe's snake is...until this past year, I too got caught up in the charade...I think the liability outweighs the "novelty"...actions speak volumes...
I do disagree with Abe in his comment "everyone perceives that the current BOS has caused all the Town’s problems."...it's not everyone...I think Abe was right on earlier when he said it was (20) people who are disgruntled...and they're (20) people who want something outside town bylaws and have been denied...

Who do you hold responsible for the MES water issue? Who do you think dragged their feet, and didn't get it done in a timely manner?

You already know the answer so why ask the question? God forbid if someone questions or confronts the school committee on their actions or lack of one in this case … your all over it aren’t you … I must commend you for your dedication to the BMRSD over the years. But after the school committee cast you aside like yesterday’s trash, it amazes me of your continued support for them. … And people believe its’ the BOS from each town we need to worry about … I challenge them to attend and ask questions at a school committee meeting. BTW … there’s an opening for Superintendent … good luck !
