Andrew Bibeault Variety Show - BMR - 7pm

Well the Annual Andrew Bibeault Variety Show is tomorrow night and is always a great take. Many students perform, teachers perform, some local acts make an appearance. It is always entertaining and packed. If you don't have your tickets yet you better hustle...they have to be getting thin at this point.

I apologize for the hiatus...sometimes life gets in the way...

My prayers go out to my friends on Rathbun St...two of the finest people I have ever met...

Phil Tympanick sworn in to the BOH

Write in candidate Phil Tympanick was sworn in this morning to the Board of Health. Phil is taking over for the vacated spot left by Ken Gikas who has recently moved out of town. Best of luck to Ken, he will be missed. We applaud Phil for stepping up and donating his time to the town. There is nothing like getting your feet wet to get a true appreciation of what volunteerism is about. I'm sure there is a thick manual Phil will need to read to prepare to do Health Inspections. The ability to handle people properly is key. The ability to be firm yet show compassion will hopefully be his focus. It also requires the ability to get along with other town departments. Best of luck to Phil.

Election Results - Poulin & Furno Voted in !!

Congratulations to Charlie Poulin & Karin Furno. It was an election where all the candidates took the high road and I was proud to be part of it. I'm sure John Laura would agree, we will support both Charlie & Karin and hope they continue to take Millville forward. The picture to the right is of the Laura's. This picture really captures the spirit of this past election.

Taking the High Road

If you drove by the Post Office yesterday, you know it was a very active day campaigning wise. All (4) candidates for selectmen stood side by side and waived to everyone. It truly was a lesson that dirty politics have no business being in Millville. I got to spend the day with Charlie & John & Karin. I got to meet their families (wives, husbands, dads, moms, children, etc). Our visions may not match, but our respect for one another was a big positive. My take was it was a positive step forward for Millville no matter how the election turns out.

When the day ended, we all shook hands and wished each other well. It struck me that is was a very proud moment for Millville. We had done what many in Millville had not been able to do. I am proud of these (3) candidates. They showed the right way by example. Personally, it has been a great experience for me to have run with these (3) people. All showed great class. I am so proud to have been a part of this election !!

I know the weather is suppose to be awful, but, please get out and vote !!! Polls open at 8am and close at 8pm. If you need a ride, post a comment here. Some body will be by to get you.
