Sox vs Yankee's

I feel bad for Dice-K...he pitches fairly well as of late but doesn't get the run support the rest of the cast does...Sox are still 7 up...all we need to do is win one to stay 7 up...you have to like Josh against Roger...and I think Schill is ready to make a statement...you have to love this time of the year.

There is a fellow blog site that I personally enjoy...it's not for everybody...he likes to burp and say the F word...but he's truly a Boston fan and is running for President of Red Sox Nation...his name is Paul "Fitzy" Fitzgerald and I'm guessing he's from Southy...his website is www.townienews.com ...if your skin is thick enough, check it out...his posts on 2/11 & 8/10 are two of my favorites...I do not recommend it for the faint of heart...he doesn't pull any punches.

Go Sox, Patriot's & CELTICS !!

The Jimmy Fund - WEEI/Red Sox Telethon

It's that time of the year again...I just watched a kid by the name of Jordan just sing the National Anthem...last year he was in leg braces and in a wheel chair...he sang the National Anthem and then ran the bases to a standing ovation...it was powerful. If you haven't made a donation do it...our piddly town squabbles mean nothing compared to what these kids & families have to go through...please call
877-738-1234 and make a donation now...

Public Safety Day a Success !!

If you missed it, here is a shot of the bonfire. A DJ was on hand playing music in the backround. Our public safety officials did what they do best. Our fire department monitored the fire while our police officers made sure bystanders were safe. Couldn't help but notice all the smiles. Happy to say I think we have finally turned the corner.

I know it's tough to tell from this picture, but these flames were easily 75ft in the air.
