Be careful what you wish for

I swore I would never get dragged into this town muck again...people were looking for change and they got it. It wasn't about what was best for the town, it was personal. There were also some who felt if you gave them (the new leadership) enough rope, things would take care of themselves. We are now at a point where we don't have a finance committee and the moderator can't find anyone to take the positions. Not sure where all the people who cried for change have gone...you just knew it would come to this.

I watched the Selectmens meeting this past Monday...the one thing I noticed is that for some members, the most important thing was to see how quick they could get out of there. It was clear they didn't want to be there. And that is how you get to where we are today. Millville is close to being wiped off the map. Maybe becoming part of Blackstone is our destiny.

I HAVE SEEN A FEW OF THE SELECTMENS MEETINGS. JACKIE WHEELER LIMA MUST HAVE SOME PICTURES OF JOHN "HOW HIGH" LAURA OR SOMETHING. THE GUY CAN'T MAKE A DECISION ON HIS OWN. AND THEN YOU HAVE CHARLIE "WE DONE YET" POULIN. WHEN HE'S NOT SLEEPING AT THE TABLE HE'S LOOKING FOR HIS COAT. THE SELECTMENS MEETINGS ARE BETTER COMEDY THAN TWO AND A HALF MEN. AND THAT TAKES SOME DOING.

Whats up with the assistant assessor asking for the infamous Henry Lane to defend her against charges braught by the state board of ethics?
Why should tax money pay for anyone who is accused of ethics violations. Ok if she is innocent but what if she is not, Millville is out? The lady is banging a lawyer, why doesn't she have him represent her, I guess he is just a bogus claims type lawyer, for this case she needs a real bad guy defender type, like Henry. He has been the choice for the likes of Mike Parry, Joe Lima, Mark Fernandez and other not so scrupulous types in town. To top it off Hery charges $60. an hour more than what has been deemed affordable by the better leaders of the past. And If Henry wants the job he should accept the going rate or the assessors should look for someone else!Has'nt the assistant assessor cost the town enough yet?Already $10,000.to defend town employee's from her bogus claims. Where's the outrage?
