I can't believe he even would consider running for the office. This is the same person who shows absolutely NO RESPECT for anyone who holds a position in town. If you were at the last town meeting you would have seen what I am speaking of. This is the same wonderful person who grandstanded.... and went on his own little voyage of grandeur. He went against the selectmen, the finance committee,the capital needs committee, and the fire chief and his department. Can you even believe that he would want to give away an extra 25K in this time of financial restraints???Where was his common sense here??? Oh, that's right, I never did say that he had any.

Well this can only be referring to the conversation between me and the Town moderator at the last Town meeting. What was disrespectful was his refusal to acknowledge my Amendment. When he said he would not allow it, I told him that I did not believe he had the right to deny the request and asked that he show me where he did have the right. To date - he has not shown me anything.

If we voted on the Article as it was it said to "Raise and Appropriate a Sum of Money to purchase a used Fire Truck" There was no limit on the amount. yes I agree that Capital put away some money, and FinCom Recommended a total amount, but those figures were not in the Amendment and that is what is binding. Curious as to how asking for $25K more is going against the Chief and his department??? As I recall, the Chief got up to speak after I made the motion and thanked me for my amendment.

I asked to cap $25K more than what FinCom suggested because I knew that we had not even been out to see the truck and felt that we would need to do more that what was being presented. Sure enough when we did go out to see the truck it was determined that there was a LOT more that needed to be done. The Chief spoke at a meeting later in the year to say that he did not recommend buying the truck at the amount mentioned and was advised by the BOS to offer an amount substantially less.

This is your voyage...... The town moderator wasn't even mentioned in my statement. Mr. Kelleher, in my opinion was always a gentleman, and most generous with you. Do you really believe that you know more than all the boards that worked for so many hours tother on the fire department article?

You will be glad though,because you do, know who I am, so you are right on that one. I told you many years ago what I thought of you, to your face, and there has been NO improvement, in my eyes. Town of Millville: You have no idea how lucky you are the this bloviating bloviator lost this election. He is a control freak and if you are in his way, he will do all he can to push you aside. I have to work with him. I would hate for him to have any control over any function in my town.
