National Debt
OK...
I'm worried about my great grandchildren never mind grandchildren I don't have yet...
Let's not forget about 6 months into George W's 1st term we had 9/11...Wall Street closed...the Airline industry closed...and the trickle down was awful...then we had to punch back (Afghanistan), that costs money...
W gets a bad rap in my view...especially considering the facts in the graph to the left...

Keith Pelosi Olberman
This guy may be worse than Pelosi...fortunately he only works for CNN so who cares...
I heard him say last night, and you can't make this up, he says the reason Martha Coakley was defeated is because the Healthcare Bill was too light...Massachusetts wanted the public option and everything else...talk about having your head up your a$$...
Dear Keith...
We do not want the Healthcare Bill...hello McFly ? We want Washington to focus on job creation for people who actually want to work...don't develop more hand outs...there are enough. We actually have a Healthcare Plan in Massachusetts already...not sure if you've heard...why do we want to pay for another one exactly ?... And by the way it's riddled with faults...
Have you ever talked with anybody from Canada and asked them how they like their deal...try it and learn...

Nincompoop
Do not let this nincompoop of epic proportions make decisions for this country.
It appears a republican is going to take Uncle Ted's vacant seat...if that is not an indication that the American people do NOT support this Healthcare Bill I don't know what message they'll get...
She was just on CNN and stated they are going to try and ram through the Senate version before it's too late...
Get pissed...call your representative...
Our mid term elections should get rid of her thank God...but that is 9 months away...

Why the Healthcare Bill can't happen...Vote Scott Brown
If you are still on the fence on who to vote for, you need to read this...
"Criminals, who are intent on stealing as much as they can and as fast as possible, and who are prepared to fabricate diagnoses, treatments, even entire medical episodes, have a relatively easy time breaking through all the industry's defenses," Sparrow testified before the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime and Drugs on May 20, 2009. "The criminals' advantage is that they are willing to lie. And provided they learn to submit their bills correctly, they remain free to lie. The rule for criminals is simple: If you want to steal from Medicare, or Medicaid, or any other health care insurance program, learn to bill your lies correctly. Then, for the most part, your claims will be paid in full and on time, without a hiccup, by a computer, and with no human involvement at all."
His evidence is anecdotal, but suggestive. In a recent academic paper, Sparrow noted that then-FBI Director Louis Freeh testified in 1995 that cocaine traffickers in Florida and California were switching from drug dealing to health-care fraud because they discovered that health-care fraud was safer, easier, and more lucrative than the drug trade, and that it carried a smaller risk of detection. In 1997, Sparrow added, the New York Times reported that organized crime families in New York City and New Jersey were abandoning extortion and bid-rigging in favor of new criminal enterprises such as health insurance fraud. Usually, he writes, major frauds are uncovered by whistleblowers rather than audit systems. One example is the case of Columbia HCA, a major hospital chain that in 2003 agreed to a $1.7 billion settlement with the Justice Department after 10 years of investigations initiated by whistleblower allegations.

Where are the cable access channels ?
I heard there may have been some fireworks at the last selectmen's meeting...it would be hard to figure out unless you could lip read...not that I watch them all the time...I don't...but if for whatever reason I would like to, it should be available...
The Cable Commissions sole responsibility is to make sure the towns citizens can turn on the TV and keep up to date on what's happening in town...it appears some of the people we have on the commission think to the contrary...it's really troubling and is pretty much more of the same..."I've lived her my whole life so I know what's best"...actually I think it's been proved no you don't...
There are some in town who think unless you have lived here longer than 40 years, you don't get a say...I have been here going on 9 years...but I don't care if I was here for 1...when the tax bill shows up in my mailbox, that gives me equal rights to anyone who has been here 70 years...there is no disputing that fact...
If you feel the same way...call town hall and demand cable access be provided for all Millville citizens now...enough of this cronyism...I tire of it

Pats beat Ravens 34-17 - prediction
My guess is Mr. Edelman fills Mr. Welker's void quite nicely...TE's will play a much bigger part in the game as will Faulk...
I'd rather play the Colts than the Chargers in the 2nd round but we need to beat both to make it to the big dance...
Go Pats !!!!

Checks & Balances - Vote Scott Brown
Let's see...first we had the Finneran scandal...then we had the Dimasi scandal...now Galluccio's...Gov. Patrick hasn't exactly lit it up...the democratic candidate for Uncle Ted's seat apparently hears the fat lady singing...I can't remember the last time I have seen a campaign add...I say send a message...vote Scott Brown...
A little about the candidate...
State Senator Scott Brown has led the fight in Massachusetts against wasteful government spending and higher taxes. He is a free-market advocate who believes our strength as a nation flows from its people. He believes in a culture of family, patriotism and freedom. At his September 12 announcement of candidacy for the U.S. Senate, Senator Brown articulated a core set of beliefs that guide his thinking.
- Government is too big and that the federal stimulus bill made government bigger instead of creating jobs
- Taxes are too high and are going higher if Congress continues with its out-of-control spending
- The historic amount of debt we are passing on to our children and grandchildren is immoral
- Power concentrated in the hands of one political party, as it is here in Massachusetts, leads to bad government and poor decisions
- A strong military and vigorous homeland defense will protect our interests and security around the world and at home
- All Americans deserve health care, but we shouldn't have to create a new government insurance program to provide it
In 2004, Senator Brown received the Public Servant of the Year Award from the United Chamber of Commerce for his leadership in reforming the state's sex offender laws and protecting the rights of victims. He has also been recognized by the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB) for his work in creating an environment that encourages job growth and expansion in Massachusetts.
Senator Brown is a graduate of Wakefield High School, Tufts University, and Boston College Law School. He lives in Wrentham, MA with his wife Gail and their two daughters, Ayla, a student at Boston College, and Arianna, a student at Syracuse University.
